Max Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile, 2015

Family wines. Since 1870. James Suckling 91 points. We name our Max wines in honor of our founder Maximiano Errazuriz, and his visionary spirit that brought him to the valley at the foothills of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes and the Western Hemisphere. Our Max Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva vines were planted more than 20 years ago in the inland Valle region of Aconcagua, ideal for its warm climate and gravel soils. Aged 12 months in French oak, this wine has concentrated yet elegant red and black fruit flavors, such as plums, raspberries and blackberries, along with lovely spice and toasted notes. Certified sustainable. Wine of Chile. Alc. 14.0% by vol. Product of Chile.
